Environmental Farm Plan Workshop
Date: Friday, February 21, 2020
Time: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Location: Cardiff Room, Sturgeon County Centre, 9613-100 Street, Morinville
The Environmental Farm Plan (EFP) is a voluntary, whole farm, self-assessment tool that helps producers identify their environmental risks and develop plans to mitigate those risks. Join us for this free workshop to create or update your EFP.
Why complete an EFP?
Protecting water, air and soil quality is key to the sustainable production of crops and livestock. Increase operational efficiency while reducing farm costs. Pair environmental stewardship with agricultural production for sustainable sourcing. Cost-share funding available.
Do you have an EFP?
Effective 2018, producers are required to have an EFP completion letter dated within the last 10 years of the date of application, to be eligible for cost-share funding with the On-Farm Stewardship programs of the Canadian Agriculture Partnership (CAP).
Register by February 18, 2020.
